These days if you don't have a well-designed website there's no way you're going to make it. And by "well-designed" I don't just mean making your site look pretty. Although the visual design elements are important, your site also has to be user friendly, easy to use, and, most importantly, hold the user's attention.

So what makes Well Done's site so awesome? As a fellow human who spends ridiculous time on the internet, here are 5 reasons I believe Well Done Marketing wins at web design!

Well Done Marketing has a very simple design that is both aesthetically pleasing and to the point. They utilize white space and instead of throwing everything at you at once, you learn more as you scroll down the website. The simplicity in the design helps make the site simple to use. No one wants to work too hard to get the information they're looking for. Another nice feature is that the navigation becomes static at the top of the page if you decide you want to visit another portion of the site while you're perusing.

Check out that static navigation and sweet design.

Smooth navigation is also a biggie when it comes to whether or not I stay on a website and Well Done's navigation is...well done. You knew that was coming. They have five simple navigation buttons that tell you exactly what you're going to get, which means the user doesn't have to think too hard! Always a plus.

Easy to follow nav...yes please!

As you delve deeper into a website, effective writing is going to become more important as you continue to learn more about whatever it is you're looking for. Well Done's writing gives you the feel of what the company is like and gives them a personality. You can tell that there are actual human beings behind this company. Plus, it gets a few chuckles out of you while telling you what you need to know.

That title gets your attention...doesn't it?

A bit long, but you get a sense of their personality don't you?

Don't you just want to give 'em a call?

Most internet users are visiting these web pages through a mobile device, which means responsive design is as important as ever! Responsive design basically means that no matter what size your screen, the content of the site will adjust to the size of your screen and still hold the same/similar user experience it would at a different size. Well Done knows what they're doing. Check out the responsive design for Well Done below.

Check out that responsive design though.

I'm going to be 100% honest with you right now...if a page doesn't load within a couple of seconds I will click off and go Google some more. It's sad, but it's the reality. With things like 6 second videos on Vine and 10 second Snapchats, our patience has shortened dramatically, which means fast load times are a must! Well Done has successfully achieved fairly quick load times without having to sacrifice design or content. Plus, they don't throw annoying pop-ups or require you to sign up for anything before learning about the company.

There ya have it, five reasons I think Well Done Marketing wins at web design. :D

Do you think Well Done Marketing wins at web design? What's a website YOU think wins at web design?
