Have you ever wondered who the person was behind your favorite blog? What they liked, didn't like, what inspires them, or why they blog?

Well, Jasmine, the author of Color U Bold, is probably one of the most awesome, inspiring people I have had the honor of getting to know and now YOU have the chance to get to know her too! This post is laid out in an interview style, so there's the Question and the Answer in her point of view. (:

Name: Jasmine Hunt
Blog: Color U Bold
Genre: Beauty, Fashion & Lifestyle

What is Color U Bold about?: Well my blog is all about inspiring and helping you find inspiration through fashion and beauty! In addition I help to motivate others through my relationship with my higher source, God! My blog is all about helping you have a smooth ride through life's toughest journey.

Why do you blog?: I blog because writing is what makes me connect to the outside world, weird choice of words but I express my love and passions through my writings. People are able to get a sense of who I am when I write. Things that are in my head, all scrambled up. I may add, is out in the open for the whole world to's a wonderful feeling.

What are your plans for blogging?: I want it to get better! I'm always trying to learn and figure out what I can  do to be a better blogger! So definitely trying my hand at website designing for my blog! I want to do it all on my own, but this will take some time! I want to be able to write for magazines and other websites. I'm still trying to learn and by guest blogging on other post it helps me to better my writing skills. I know I can do all things in which I put my mind to so it's no telling where my blog will go. I'm taking it all in stride!

Link one post you’re really proud of and explain why you’re proud of it: (Motivational Mondays: Our Oversexualized Generation) Our oversexualized generation! This post has been on my heart for a while and when I was having a serious talk with my mom about our generation I had to write it...that night. I never write the night before...something I need to start doing though! I was nervous to post it but then I just hit the publish button and relief came over me! I got some great feedback too! Knowing that I could hit a nerve for a good way is what keeps me going!

If you had to blog about one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?: Inspirational posts! When I write about my spirituality it not only helps me and what I'm going through but it helps someone else, that is what matters.

What do you want your readers to get from your blog?: I want my readers to understand that life is hard and we go through quite alot in this world but that doesn't mean we can't get back up, put on our makeup, put on our best outfit, and rock it like we never did before!

Is there anything you’d like to say to your readers?: Of course a big huge thank you, a big bear hug!!! I appreciate all comments, and simple words of encouragement it has helped me through so much in times when I sometimes feel like giving  up and then I see a comment about how I helped them going through something or wow that outfit is gorgeous!

Is there anything you’d like to say to new/prospective readers?: Feel free to give me feedback, advice, and anything that you would love to see on my blog. I want to give you what inspires you....that inspires me! What makes you want to come back for more?!?

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to new/old bloggers?: Don't compare yourself. When I first started back in 2012 blogging as a whole seemed non existant at the time. I didn't have much to compare myself too. And then the boom of bloggers and Youtubers overflowed this past year. I started to doubt myself and doubt the worth of my blog. I had to stop comparing myself to the one's that came up so quick and I started to focus on me and my progress! Remember don't compare your start to someone else's start...its always gonna be different. To some success comes easier  and to others it takes a little longer. It's your future that matters, your progress, your journey. Look toward your future, not someone else's future!

Would you rather always have to say what’s on your mind or never speak again?: Oh this is a great question,  I have to go with saying what's on my mind at all times. I'm always holding back, never really letting my voice be heard. It has allowed me to be looked at as naive and too sweet. It's time for me to speak my mind!

What is your proudest accomplishment?: Probably one that's most recent. I just got on Instagram and the assistant of Seventeen wanted a nail art of mine to be shown in the March issue of their magazine! I had them on my vision board I didn't know how I would get in there but I got in there! So I know all things are possible! I won't take it off my vision board until my whole body and blog is in there!

Would you rather have one wish granted today or three wishes granted in 10 years?: I would say 3 wishes granted in 10 years! I say this because I would be able to grow and appreciate my wishes instead of getting it one day and blowing it the next!

If money didn’t exist, what would you do all day?: Ahhh you know sometimes I like to make believe that money don't exist...then I wind up spending way too much money on clothes and makeup and then I'm brought back to reality. But if it didn't exist I would just be a kid in a clothing store all day...can someone say shopping spree!

And that is just a GLIMPSE of what Jasmine is like! I first met Jasmine through the #USBloggerChat and I've gotten to know her over the course of this year. The positivity and inspiration that emanates from her is unbelievable and her blog is a true reflection of that. I highly suggest you getting to know Jasmine by reading her blog, and talking to her via social media (Twitter | Instagram | Facebook) because she truly is an amazing person!
