#BloggersCelebrate

Every Thursday there's a #USBloggerChat at 8PM EST, created by the lovely Natalie & Chelsea, and this Thursday (January 8, 2015) we were talking about how we can ensure that we stick with our goals year round and Natalie suggested that we should celebrate when we achieve our goals. This got me thinking...

1) WHAT AN AWESOME IDEA!: Why don't we celebrate when we reach our goals?
2) We need to do something about this!

So, during the chat it hit me: why not start a hashtag where all of us bloggers can share our achievements with each other? I mean we all go about posting our New Years Resolutions and in the excitement of the New Year, many of us end up breaking the resolutions within the first couple of weeks. (GUILTY) But what if there was a way to keep you motivated? To let you know that YOU CAN DO IT. To let you know that there are people here rooting for you to succeed. To give you an outlet to share your achievements.

Thus, #BloggersCelebrate was born! This awesome hashtag was thought up by Rebecca by the way. (-: Here's what I'm proposing:

Use this hashtag whenever you reach a goal. Whether it's a resolution, a blogging goal, a personal goal...whatever you feel comfortable sharing. It could be that you reached a certain number of followers on social media, or that you've been sticking to your blogging schedule or that you've stuck with your workout for a week. Whatever you want to celebrate, because we should celebrate! (;

Now we need YOUR help. I'm a tiny part of this blogging community and I can't do this on my own, so I'm gonna need your help. How can you help?

1) Tweet using the hashtag.
2) Share this post so people know what it's all about.
3) Tell your blogging community about it.

Most importantly, tweet using the hashtag #BloggersCelebrate. We want to see your achievements and celebrate them!

What do you think of #BloggersCelebrate? Will you be using the hashtag?

  10. What a lovely, lovely idea <3 Loving all this positivity on Twitter at the moment; such a breath of fresh air from all the horrid keyboard warriors and trolls. I've been trying to focus on my achievements recently, no matter how small or meaningless to anyone else - so this idea really resonates with my current sentiments. Fab, fab, fab :}

  11. YAY YAY YAY! Thank you so much lovely! :D Positivity gets overshadowed by negativity way too much nowadays that it's nice to see people who are striving for positivity. It's awesome to see how you aren't letting anyone else's opinions get in your way. Quite inspiring! :D Keep celebrating your achievements girl!

    Lots of Love,
