Blogmas: Why do Blogmas? (4)

Thursday, December 04, 2014

Welcome to Day 4 of Blogmas! If you want to see a running list of my Blogmas posts, you can check them out here. (:

So, if you read my blog or follow me on Twitter, you may know that I participate in #USBloggerChat on Thursdays at 8PM. Well, this weeks topic was winter blogging and we talked about Blogmas and I heard a lot of interesting viewpoints that I had never really thought about before.

It can probably be annoying seeing the same holiday posts clogging up your feed every day and I totally get that, but Blogmas is just one of those things that I feel like brings all types of bloggers, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, food, travel, etc., together to create a plethora of holiday themed posts. (Yes, I just used plethora in a sentence)

Anyways, I just wanted to do this quick post to let you know why I'm personally participating in Blogmas. (:

I wasn't going to do it at first because I'm extremely busy at the moment with extracurriculars, school and finals coming up, BUT I couldn't pass up the opportunity to join, what I believe is, a blogging tradition. If you were here last year when I first started my blog, you may have seen my "25 Days of Christmas" posts, which you could say were my version of "Blogmas," mostly because I didn't know what the heck Blogmas was.

Well, this year I decided to join in on the fun and for now I'm happy with that decision. (: But, I must say, it's quite difficult thinking of unique topics concerning the holidays. I mean the first three posts I've done are all generic posts that I'm pretty sure I did last year...oops! I'm going to try to add some variation, maybe not do ALL Christmas/Holiday related posts, but add in some random #ootds or life updates...who knows? (-:

If you're still reading this chunk of Blogmas text, why not participate in my Holiday comment challenge? (;

Holiday Comment Challenge #4:

Are you participating in Blogmas? If so, why? If not, why not?

    1. Haha, I'm not sure what the "exact" definition is but I see it as blogging from December 1st up until December 25th, usually holiday related posts. (:
