Blogmas: The Christmas Tag (11)

Thursday, December 11, 2014

Welcome to Day 11 of Blogmas! If you want to see a running list of my Blogmas posts, you can check them out here. (:

Yes, it's happening, time to do the Christmas tag! I found the tag on Charlotte's blog, Vanity Fairest, which you should most definitely check out. (: Let's not delay this any longer, I present the Christmas tag!

1) What is your favourite Christmas Movie(s)?
AH there are so many! I think of all time, even though it's not really that Christmasy, I'd say Home Alone. c: We watch it every Christmas! Other movies I love: The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, the Santa Claus movies, and of course...A Christmas Story. Are you looking for holiday movies to watch? You can find some on my first Blogmas 2014 post! (:

2) Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Well, technically we open them Christmas Day, but we stay up til 12 AM. (; But when I have a family I'd like to wait 'til Christmas. (:

3) Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Honestly, none really come to mind. We don't really "celebrate" Christmas, we just put up some decorations and exchange gifts. But I guess last year was memorable because our cousins came over and we stayed up until midnight to uphold our tradition. (; We laughed, told stories, laughed some more and then opened some presents. It was a great night! <3

4) Favourite festive food?
I'd have to say all the desserts that come out during Christmas time! :D OMG.

5) Favourite Christmas gift?
Hmm...that's a tough one, but I'd have to say all the handmade stuff my little sister gave me. See, when we were little we didn't really go Christmas shopping, instead we'd stay home and do homemade presents. I have a box full of stuff that she's made me and when I'm feeling a bit sentimental, I go through it and it just brings the biggest smile to my face. I mean it's not super expensive or super nice, but you can see the thought she put into it and I'd choose a priceless, thoughtful gift over an expensive one anyday. (:

6) Favourite Christmas scent?
CINNAMON. That's Christmas right? If not, then I'd have to go with the classic Vanilla.

7) Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Yes! It used to be just the three of us (my mom, sister and me), but it's grown to include our cousins that moved out here as well, and you know what they say...the more the merrier! We eat dinner, watch some movies, laugh, tell stories and then open presents. <3

8) What tops your tree?
A star, of course! (: You can check it out here!

9) As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I could lie and say a pony, but I honestly don't remember asking my parents for anything. We didn't even really start kind of "celebrating" Christmas until a couple of years ago when I was old enough to know what Christmas was! I know, I'm weird but seriously, when I'm older and start a family, my house is gonna be THAT house that's decked out in Christmas decorations. (;

10) What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
Honestly, EVERYTHING. The decorations, the joy, seeing people smiling and having a good time with their loved ones, giving presents...it's literally my favorite time of the year...other than summertime but I don't think that falls into the same category...anyways, yes...everything about this time of year just makes me so happy and full of cheer! :D
