It's about that time of year again where you can't step outside without having at least three layers of clothing on, a jacket over those three layers, a beanie, maybe even ear muffs if you're really determined to keep yourself warm, those awesome holiday themed socks and of course, boots!

Yep, the season for dry skin and chapped lips has officially arrived. I've put together a mini-list of things that I don't think I could survive winter without. I didn't really include any beauty products because I don't use much other than lotion and chapstick/Vaseline. (-:

The first thing I don't think you can really survive winter without out is pretty obvious...some type of sweater/jacket. I have some sweaters, then a leather jacket to wear over those sweaters, and even a pea coat if I'm feeling especially good one day.

Also, if you guys have been following my blog for a while you may know that I'm a HUGE fan of scarves. I don't know what it is about them but I love them! I don't own too many (only like 5) but I'm planning on growing my collection over the years. I just think they can really pull an outfit together and not to mention how warm they keep you! (;

Some other accessories I've been using this winter are beanies and gloves! I found this really cute grey, knitted beanie with a little furry ball on top at Forever 21 and I just had to have it. I've never really worn hats or beanies, but I thought I'd try it out this year and I've come to like them quite a lot. I've also had some trouble acquiring gloves that actually keep my hands warm, at least until now! These gloves are amazing. I think they have like two or three layers and I can't feel a thing when I put them on...which makes sense because that's their job! (-:

On to the next one, on to the next one.
About this time of year I always pull out my festive holiday socks...well to be honest I only have 1 pair of socks that are really holiday-ish but I have some other ones that are really warm and great for winter time!

And you can't forget about the boots! I think this part is pretty self-explanatory, although my favorites would have to be the combat boots, they just seem to go with so many different outfits! (:

I don't have a picture of this but leggings have been my best friend so far this winter. I love to wear them under my jeans on a really cold day, and if I want to wear them on their own I sometimes layer two of them.

And there are my winter essentials! What are some things YOU couldn't live without this winter? Let me know in the comments below and stay warm!
